Summary of the sensible bits

We will:

  • Provide a full and friendly service; which will include suitable consultation with the client (you).
  • Provide an approval service; which allows the client to view the "draft" site before making it 'live' on the web.
  • Complete the first "draft", of your site, within 3 working days of receiving the required content. Exceptions will only happen due to circumstances beyond our control (fire, flood, volcano, etc.).
  • Show you the completed "draft" in a number of additional designs (just in case you change your mind).
  • Remove unsuitable postings from the included Guestbook.
  • Remove any postings from the included Guestbook, at the request of the client.
  • Provide a complete domain name search service, if required, and offer you the choice of a number of suitable options. Whilst the service is free to clients who order a website, the cost of the domain name will be added to your invoice (at £8 per annum).
  • Adhere to the guidelines of the Data Protection Act with regards to the safety of the client's personal information.
  • Attempt to resolve any issues that we may encounter and seek the client's approval for all decisions made.

We will not:

  • Approve any photographs, for inclusion on your site, which could be deemed immoral, offensive or illegal.
  • Approve any text, for inclusion on your site, which could be deemed immoral, offensive or illegal.
  • Create a million drafts of your site, just because you can't make your mind up. We desparately want you to be happy with the service, but we do have limits.
  • Share the client's information with any third party, with the exception of law enforcement agencies; at their legal request.

You will:

  • Supply suitable content, information and pictures to enable the creation of your site. This needs to be completed in a timely manner.
  • View the "draft" site(s) in a timely manner, to allow for amendments to be made before the celebration date.
  • Pay for the service; on receipt of your invoice and internet link for online payments.
  • Consider sharing this service with your friends.

You will not:

  • Use the site as a file server (if you do not know what this means, then you don't need to worry about it).
  • Post offensive content to the included Guestbook.
  • Request a million drafts of your site, just because you can't make your mind up. We desparately want you to be happy with the service, but we do have limits.

FAQ:

  • Domain names will be registered in the name of the individual who orders the service and will be managed by us; unless you request (by email or post) to take-over said management.
  • Sites will remain 'live' on the web for 12 months from the date of the celebration. Domain names will remain 'live' for 12 months from the date of ordering the name.
  • If you cancel the service, prior to the celebration date, you may receive a full refund; less the cost of the Domain Name which cannot be returned. You will be given full ownership / management of any purchased domain name.
  • If you cancel the service, after the celebration date but within 30 days of ordering, you may receive a 50% refund; less the cost of the Domain Name which cannot be returned. You will be given full ownership / management of any purchased domain name.
  • If you do not pay for the service (on receipt of your invoice / link), the site may be replaced with a statement to that effect.
  • You may extend the site / domain for subsequent years at a cost of £30 £15 (+ the domain cost - if required). Minor amendments and inclusion of some additional pictures are included in this price.
  • Payments may be made by cheque (UK only), cash (UK only) or credit / debit card (via Paypal online payments).
